Jason came to my house at 1320hrs and I drove Aloha Changi together with Jason after Christian sms me that he couldn’t make it and going on his own. On the way to Aloha Changi, I called Dennis (one of students) to check his location and drop by Tampines Central to pick up him if his alone, but end up can only picked up their stuffs as they had 3 persons.... Along the way, Angela kept calling me as i’m unable to pick up my call while driving, so I pass it to Jason and let him inform her which items to buy..

After reaching chalet, we started to unload all our belonging and drove to Giant at Tampines to pick up Angela, Yi Shan, 2 other students and the purchased items, den return back to aloha change. Few of us started to unpacked our BBQ items while waiting for the rest of the students to arrive and we started our first BBQ night around 1800hrs..

At 2100hrs, Christian and Jason conducted an Ice Breaking & Briefing for next day activities including having external trainer (Mr Danny Chong from Peak Performance Consultants) to come in and conduct Two Enrichment Courses - The Leader is in You, Problem Solving & Decision Making which I’ve requested in ISDF (Integrated Student Development Framework).

Most of the activities did went smoothly, only that some student were a little incorporative.. And i didn’t get to sleep during the first night as to think of next day activities.....

Day 2 - 1st July 2008

I conducted 15mins morning warm-up exercises as scheduled at 0800hrs.

Then gathered everybody again at 9am for our first games activities and then I move off to Changi Beach together with Games I/Cs to the treasure hunt check points while Jason left behind, grouping the students into 3 teams and bringing them over to the treasure hunt start point..

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very good as it started drizzling while at the start point, but we still continue the activity as the drizzle stopped for awhile.. After the games ended, for my observation with this 3 teams, only 1 of the teams are active in playing the game, while the rest of the 2 are just taking their own sweet time.. And I wanted them to do the reflection write-up for the entire activity when they reach our chalet and pass it to me before next activity started.
Back in the chalet at about 1100hrs, Jason and myself dropped dead on the sofa..

Around 1400hrs, The External Trainer arrived and to conduct the Enrichment Courses including hand-on activities within 4hrs for our students. Around 1800hrs, the entire activities ended and we had our group photo with the trainer.

1900 hrs, Angela’s team started BBQ started by until 2100hrs.. Christian and Jason conducted one of the game activities that they have learnt during the YEP Leader’s Course.. Farhan’s team won as one of his members (Evon) has played the entire game before and not much of the students get to enjoy in the games as they were all tired after the whole days of activities.. Follow by briefing for n

ext day activities including to bring their food into Pulau Ubin for their lunch. After the debrief, Christian and myself went back to o

ur room continuous to discuss further especially our activities in Pulau Ubin while Jason entertaining with the students. And most of us manage to sleep around 0300hrs.

Day 3 - 2nd July 2008

I manage to wake up around 0800hrs and reques

ted Angela to give morning call to the rest when seeing her at the living room.... I locked up the place and set off to Changi Ferry Terminal. On the way before reaching, Jason going to changi market to buy 3 packs of Chicken Rice for three of us.. We did separated into 3 groups as we have 30 people including Jason, Christian and myself (12person for each bumboat).

Upon arrival at Pulau Ubin, Christian conducted a short briefing and followed by trekking toward the 1st destination- Ubin Granite Quarry (as we planned). The walk was quite relaxing.. Quite a few of the students took photos along the way........... Unknowingly, we actually walked past our intended 1st destination and so, we go ahead to the 2nd destination which is to the Owner’s place in the Village.. After we’ve reached there, we rested and had our lunch.. After lunch, Jason went up for a chat with the owner (Aunt Siew Eng), which Angela, Kalai also join in and also brought them around to have a look at the plantation and the 2 di

esel generators to generate electricity for the entire place.. It so kind of Aunt Siew Eng’s son (Ah Hock), to power up one of the diesel generator for the us to switch on the fans to cool down our resting place. I requested to start our game activities and the activity went on smoothly, with one of the teams actually straying off the original game.. But things still went on with the winner of each teams piting against each other.. After the games ended at about 2pm, i decided to backtrack to our 1st destination a

fter we’ve actually found out it’s actual location.. but some students reluctant to continuous the trekking , but wanted to go for cycling.. So I decided to break into two group (Trekking group lead by myself and Christian and Cycling group lead by Jason) and to meet up at Ubin Jetty at 1630hrs.

Evon started to sing and few of us follows and took lots of photos while trekking toward Ubin Granite Quarry. Even after reaching to the top of the quarry and continous to trek back to the Pulau Ubin jetty to meet up our cycling group. Ev

eryone did enjoy trekking especially myself as this is my first time doing such activity with our students.

Around 1530hr before reaching jetty, we saw few of our cycling’s group resting at the fruit stall drinking coconut water, and few of us also started to follow them buy coconut and sitting at the other table drinking and chit chatting. Our tracking group decided to go to secret garden to take few photos after 30mins of resting and we headed to jetty to meet up with the rest at 1630hrs..

As usual, we did separated into 3 groups -1st first group is lead by Christian with 11 students, and Jason which leading 2nd group with 11 other students, but end up with only 9 of them.... And I have additional 2 students in my group waiting for next ferry. =.= After reaching change jetty, knowing that he have to pay for the extra guy that not our students!! WTF!! Fortunately, we had the correct head count of students back, few of them going to Changi Market for their dinner and remaining of us did went straight back to chalet to rest/ shower and had our dinner during night time. Things almost tend to turn bad when handling a large group of students and never seems to ever learn how to think and act smart.. Having two male room I/Cs didn’t handle properly and misunderstanding occur just a small issue on air-con remote control. As I have to conduct different ways of handling by listen to the 3 complainers before having any conclusions and decided have a chat with the students (keeping the remote) for more details with the help of Christian...

After having a good chat with the students, he follows Jason and few of the students to Changi Beach for a walk. And Christian and myself started to call in few identify students (might be involved in upcoming YEP Trip) for interview session to know more about their strong area (e.g. team leader role, I/Cs role, etc.). After interviewing about half of our student strength, we feel very sleepy and decided to stop our session. And I started to sleep having some space for Jason to sleep when he's back from changi beach.

Day 4 - 3rd July 2008

About 0700hrs, i wake and saw Jason sleeping on the chair , relies that I’ve overtook the space while having my sweet dream.. HaHa..

I requested Evon to wake up rest that still sleeping in their bedroom and i started to wake up few of them including Jason that sleeping in the living room.
0900hrs, I conducted the very last activity for the team building activities which three of us have learnt during our Leader’s. In theory, Capacitor will stabilise current and remove electronics noise, hence improve all electronics components performance in your cars. Capacitor will compensate a sudden high current lost, especially on heavy and loud bass. It will also resolve the light dimming issue when you are on loud music, meaning regain original stable brightness.
As for Voltage stabiliser, it is actually an Impedance stabiliser. Meaning it ONLY stabilise your load to your battery. So your lights will dimmed but stable irregardless on loud or soft music.
